“This is the best modification I could have done for this car, and still keep it streetable. The increase in the fun factor is exponential.” — Doug McConnell, CA [1275 MG Midget w/supercharger cam]

“My car came with the engine in a basket. While building the motor, the supercharger mounts were fabricated, the supercharger fitted, and the serpentine belt drive installed. With the motor out, the VW radiator and Audi intercooler were installed. The car was then driven for about 150 miles while the ducting for the supercharger was fabricated and fitted.

“The whole project took most of eight months, evenings and weekends, including about 4 weeks of delay waiting for parts. I estimate around 200 hours labor, and $2000 out of pocket. I could have reduced the hours a bit, but I used a surge tank mounted fuel pump, and suffered a few “false starts” getting the plumbing worked out.

“All in all, the project went really well, thanks to all of Joel's development work. His proprietary parts, installation instructions and customer support are simply first class!” — Jim Christian, CO [1973 1275cc Midget]

“I can’t fault Joel and Creative Spridgets one bit. He has a fantastic knowledge and his Supercharger with Intercooler kit really demonstrates this. Its not totally straight forward and you need some engineering skills but Joel is so helpful and really wants to help it’s been brilliant doing this project.

“The parts he supplies are real top quality (not a DIY feel or cheap import) and I’m surprised if he makes any profit on them… [Joel] just supplies the parts you REALLY need and can’t make or find as a single DIY car enthusiast in your garage. He’s totally committed to the project and wants to continue to perfect it.”

“I have upgraded from 1.5” to 1.75” carb. That carb adapter is super. My only complaint about the new shiny part, is once it is installed you can't see that beautiful finish.” —R.K. Yonder, OH [1275cc Midget]

“The brake upgrade to my Vintage racer was GREAT! Most notable upgrade to my race car. Ran at VIR 3 weeks ago and I was able to go deeper, stop later and straighter. I have Tilton brake masters, so brake bias was right.” —Dan Dougherty. Powder Springs, GA [racing-spec Bugeye Sprite]

“I am amazed at the quality of your brackets, and how exacting and precise your directions were for installation.” —Matt. Lake Stevens, WA [1500cc Midget]
